The Club is established for charitable purposes only and (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing words) to do perform and carry out all or any of the followig acts or things namely:- a. to secure for the public benefit the preservation restoration improvement enhancement and maintenance of steam traction engines and other steam road vehicles, tractors, stationery engines (including portable steam engines) and vintage vehicles of all descriptions and other items of historic interest and educational value; b. to further the education of the public in the historical and general development of steam traction engines and other steam road vehicles c. the promotion of such objects as may be considered charitable under the laws of Northern Ireland.
