To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Altamuskin area and the surrounding townlands without distinction of sect, political religious or other opinion in order to advance the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupations with the object of improving the education and conditions of life for the inhabitants and in particular to establish and maintain activities of a social nature for all citizens of the area and where possible to alleviate any poverty in the area.
