**Purposes:** Objects 4.1 The Objects for which the Charity is established are: working towards the elimination of  poverty in the world’s poorest countries and regions and the relief of people in need of  humanitarian assistance, and to support the work of Concern Worldwide (UK) in furtherance  of its charitable purposes. 4.2 Nothing in these articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for  purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee  Investment(Scotland)Act 2005 and/or section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008  and in relation to the application of the Tax Acts as defined by section 831(2) Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988.
