## **Cave Hill MTB Club Chair’s Report** 

## **31[st] December 2023** 

2023 has been a busy year for the club, we have consolidated work on the Middle Trail and our membership numbers are growing as is the popularity of the trail amongst riders. 

Belfast City Council have ratified the Pilot and agreed that the Club can manage the Middle Trail on a permanent basis.  A new Memorandum of Understanding will be drawn up and agreed with Belfast City Council during 2024. 

The CORA maintenance and visitor reporting application is working well and satisfies all Health and Safety regulations. 

The Middle Trail and the presence of mountain bikers as a legitimate feature of the recreational users on Cave Hill has been universally successful.
