community and beyond. They hold eNents for the childi"en, wliich were essential, especially
coming out of COVID. Many children are suffering froin anxiety and events SLich as the Fun
Night and Haivest Hooley werc an opportunity foi. tliem to engage ivith tlieir peels and Lnjoy
tIILmselves in a safe envii-onment. The pupils (and theii- siblings and pee￿} L-LPOlt that they
love PSG eiientsl The palents alsu benefit gi-edtly fi-om the PSG evLnts, it is ￿ oppoitunity
for thein to meet cach other and build up friendsliips. After COVID a lot of adults reported
that they felt veiy isolated, and these events have been a useful ivav to break doThin baiTiLrs.
The majority of PSG are open to the public and this is very beneficial as it hds helped biiild
up relationships between tlie school, neighbouring scliools. business, and meinbcrs of tlie
Iocdl cornmunity. Tlie scliool is very ivell thought lll the local Col￿￿Ul11ty, aiid tliis iq iii part
due to the ivonderful PSG evLllts. Thc scliool and staff benefit greatly froin all tlie PSG
events. The PSG'8 financial report has nieant that the pupils in our srnall rural priinary school
can access tIIL' best ICT ¢quipmeiit, rLadllig materials and Sports equiptnent. Tlie principal
reports that this additional fuiid ing is vital iii thesc cliallciigiiig financial times. Tlie PSCJ
events also help break dO￿1n barriers betweeii tlie staff and parents as tliey are all workllig
together for a cominon goal - supporting tlie pupils aiid tlie scliool.

The PSG events are beneficial to the whole community iii so many ways.
