Dungannon Area All Stars Monitoring Document for Charities Commission
Dungannon Area All Stars have met weekly over the past year. In accordance with our stated aims we have participated in rehearsals for an annual show,
The group has now 36 members who have various learning disabilities/difficulties and or autism. Some members also have physical difficulties.
The group have also had many social and recreational activities built into the programme. We have also performed at local community events, all with a charitable purpose. Our members have benefited from social contact, improved self esteem and a wide range of skill based learning.
In June 2023 we had a full length show in the Burnavon theatre Cookstown. And we are working towards November 2024 for another.
The public saw the fruits of our labour and our wider network of parents and friends helped make this enterprise hugely successful.
All this has been carried out giving due consideration to the Charity Commissions guidelines. We have endeavoured to mitigate any harm to our participants by regularly training our volunteers and ensuring access NI registration for them.
