**Purposes:** To provide an opportunity for members to come together for a range of activities to promote social interaction and maintain healthy, alert and imaginative minds.  To help the over 50 age group in our area to defeat ageism and to be a voice against discrimination of that group, thus reducing isolation and to promote the welfare of older people.

**What the charity does:** The advancement of citizenship or community development,The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
