**Purposes:** The Association is established to  promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the rural dwellers located in Drummullan and surrounding  area (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) particularly the rural  families, without distinction of gender, age,  disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity,  or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, promote environment and heritage, health and well being, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
