It specifically aims to create 8 secure environment where members can play football and to promote sport by promoting participation in activities: offering members appropriate competition, helping member8 raise their sporting standards, organising Local games of football and ensuring that all members of the community have an equalopportunityto participate successfully. Richhill AFC operate within County Armagh and specifically within the village of Richhill, We provide free football for every member of the CLub (aged 16 - 62) plus run various holiday football camps for locaL kids (boys and girls aged 4- 11). We have a partnership in place with Hardy Memorial Primary School, who use ourfacilities free of charge during School hours. The management ot the Club's financial status remained favourable thank8 to the ongoing execution of our development plan, enhanced business sponsorship and further successful grant applications. The Club moved to further strengthen its position within the community and to meet growing demand by obtaining a lease on the facilities used by the Club from ABC CounciL in June 2023. This has resulted in the initial part of phase 1 being completed. Our next deveLopment goal is to obtain funding for an artificial floodlit football pitch on our leased grounds. Planning permission was approved in February 2024 and the Club are "spade ready" when the appropriate funder becomes available. The Club undertook various fundraising activities throughout the year to meet the financial demands of providing a free service. These included: Last Person Standing competition, Bingo Night. Quiz Night and an Evening at the Races. The Club received sponsorship from over 30 Local businesses throughout the year and aLso hired out the newly leased facilities to over 16 local groups in order to generate additional income. To keep equipment and facilities up to date and in good working order, various grants were successfully obtained 8nd spent. The Trustees are satisfied that the CLub's finances are being managed and reported satisfactorily. The committee meetings. which are conducted monthly, provide regular updates on financial matters.
