SESKINORE RURAL COMMUNITY GROUP TRUSTEES, REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025 The trustees present their report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025. The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in Note l of the accounts and comply with the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accowiting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (as amended for accounting periods commencing from l January 2016). The objects of the charity include.. l. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Seskinore and district area and its environs without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious, or other opinion. by associating with statutory aiithorities, voluntary organisations, and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education. 2. To provide t'acilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. 3. To encouraLye regeneratio1nvestMent opportunities to ensure the continued growth of our vibrant rural community. 4. Organise or assist in orgyanising meetings, lectures, classes, and exhibitions and publish, or assist in publishing reports, periodicals, recordings, books or documentation or inforn]ation. 5. Obtain, collect, and receive money by way of grants, donations, bequests, legacies, or other lawful metliods. Financial review The charity returned net income for the year of £8,810 (2024 - £5,560). On 31 March 2025, the total funds of the charity amounted to £21,810 (2024 - £13,000). Of the total funds reported above, £15,402 is made up of cash at bank. Reserves polRCy The trustees endeavour to maintain sufficient funds to ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able to continue the charity, s current activities while consideration is given to ways in which additional funds may be raised. Risk management The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.

Structure* governance, and management Seskinore Rural Community Group registered as a charity on 7 April 2022 and is govemed by its Constitution. The trustees who served during the year were: Mr William Howard Mr Hugh McAleer Mrs Colette Mccabe Mr Roy Mccracken Mr Mark McLaughlin Mr Robert Riddell Mr Ivor Russell Mrs Lila Russell Sir Robert Salisbury Mr BJ Toal The trustees were assisted during the year by Glenda Armstrong, Jonny Clements, William Crawford, Sain Dennison, Dervla Devlin, Seamus McAlinney, Emma Mccann and Sharon Pearson. Summary of activities during the year l. Met with Fermanagh & Omagh District Councillors & Officers and with Forest Service personnel with a view to having Seskinore Forest upgraded. 2. Carried out minor improvements to Seskinore Forest facilities. 3. Provided picnic tables and benches in Seskinore Forest 4. Provided a toilet for use in Seskinore Forest. 5. Consulted '1th DFI personnel and other relevant parties regarding the extension of the village footpath to the Forest which has now been completed. 6. Constructed the village centre piece at the Camalea/Corkhill Road junction. 7. Organised and managed local community litter picks in September & April. 8. Organised oiir annual SK Fun Run & Walk in Seskinore Forest in May 2024. 9. Hosted a well-attended Rose Kavanagh historical tour in June 2024 l O. Defibrillator training. I l. Further enhanced the Christmas lights display in the village. 12. Planted flowers in our flower boxes in the village. 13. Produced digital recordings of interview5 With local senior residents. 14. Consulted with other local community groups in areas of common interest.

Liaised positively with FODC l Forestry Service regarding antisocial dog walking in Seskinore Forest. 18. Lobbied FODC to have the hedge cut and a picnic table provided in Seskinore Play Park. Independent examiner's report to the charity trustees of Se5kinore Rural Community Group (Charity no. 108476) I report on the accounts of Seskinore Rural Community Group for the year ended 31 March 2025. Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine tlie accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act. follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions gÉven by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of.the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the aLLounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters. My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe: l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act; 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records. 3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act. 4. That there is further information needed for a PToper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
