In recent yeao we have had restrictions on vlsitors to our setting txrt this year we were
fortunate to have visrts from the local police and opticlan. They were very InfOnna￿ and
Interesting sessions for the chlldren. We also had a number of sessions wrth Tyrone Messy
play, Nwrtsh and Nature Yoga. Jo Jingle8. Lratty Teddies. and even a visrt trom the Ice
cream Man.

The Gettirg ready to learn programme contlnued to ru￿ and was great to h* parents be
involved in their child's education. We also coniinued to use Dojo to update the parents on
what we do each week at the nursery. and tt was an extra form of communication for
parents to get In touch if they ever had any concems.

We, at Brambty Hedge, contlnued to have a strong Ilnk wlth our Local Primary School. The
children were invited to attend the school Christmas show at Bready Jubilee, as well as
being invited for a number of Play sessions With Mr8 Goodmary to help children with Iheir
transition to Primary l.

Throughout the year. we held a number of trips and spedal events - we had Santa Night.
Banyan Theatre evening. Summer messy play. and at the end of terni. we held a group trip to
the Playshed for children and parents.
Fundralsin
Fundraising is always a large aspect of Committee and Nurw lrfe. I would like to thank all

committee members, staff and parents for their continuous support throughout the year.
This year we have not carrled out as much as fundraising as we would have liked, due to
other commitments. We held our Annual Chrt8tmas and Easter Raffles. Moving forward into
the 2023124 School year. furKlraising18 something we must ￿phaS•Se to try and maintain a
healthy and a much needed bank balance.
Finally. and again, I would Ilke to coniinue to thank my fellow committee membw8 and ￿att
for all your help throughout the year. We have many members who have c0ntlrx￿d to stay
on. even when their children have moved on to school. Whhoul Ihls valuable help. we would
not be able to open our doors. As always. we wlll contlnue to pth the Interests of the
children and the communty at hea¢ and ensure the best leamlng experience p088ible.

Basis of Independent Examlnerfs Ststement
I have examlned your charlty accounts as requlred under sectlon 65 of the Charities Act and an
examination was carried out In accordance with the general dlrertors 8lven by the Chanty
Commission for Northern Ireland under sectlon 6519){b) of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accountin8 records kept by the charfty and a Cwiparlson of
the attounts presented with those records. It also induded consider*ions of any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts, and 5eekln8 explanation from you as charity members concernln8 any
such matters.
My role Is to state whether any materlal rnatters have come to my attentlon 8lvlng me cause to
believe:
l. That the accountln8 records were not kept In accordance wlth sectlon 63 of the Charltles
Act.
2. That the account5 did not accord wlth the accountlng records.
3. The accounts do not comply with the accountlng requirements of the Charltles Act.
