## **Trustees Annual Report** 

Principal objectives: 

The Parent Support Group of St.Mary’s Primary School Portaferry (“PSG”) is established to advance the education of pupils at St. Mary’s Primary School Portaferry (“the school”) by providing and assisting in the provision of educational facilities at the School. 

We also strive to: 

(a) foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others who befriend the school; 

And 

(b) engage in activities which support the School and advance the education of the pupils attending it. 

Activities during the year: 

During the year we have raised money with various activities, including quiz for the local community, crochet classes, discos, Christmas raffle,  Easter Bunnies, tidy school grounds, movie night, win the pumpkins and tuck shops at school events. A coffee morning and tractor run/family fun day also helped us raise much needed funds for our school. 

During the year, we were pleased to be able to support the funding pantomime travel expenses, camogie tournament travel expenses, whiteboards for the classrooms, subscriptions to Collins Subscription, Accelerated Reader subscription and much needed outdoor equipment. 

We are pleased to report that the account shows a healthy balance moving forward.
