This year we were able to get back to a more normal pre-covid fundraising setup. We kicked off the
year with an Easter disco. We then provided a tuck shop, tea, coffee and buns at our annual sports
day with some delicious treatsgenerously donated by the P7 parents. At Christmas time we had the
annual Christmas toy shop voucher and hamper raffle which always proves to be a popular
fundraiser. We also arranged a very special visttorfor the children with Santa Claus visiting and
giving each child a selection box. In the spring we held another raffle with prizes from donations
from the many wonderful supporting businesses in our communty. We finished off the year with
ourfirst table quiz which proved to be a roaring success and an opportunity forthe school
community to come together.
In distributing funds, the Trustees and Committee meetwith the Principal to discussareas wherethe
need is greatest. It was decided to implement a "Funding Request" process to provide irnproved
governance overthe distribution of funds. Thisyearwe were pleased to fund the P7 leavers hoodies
and the Busy Ants math5 programme.
In this financial year the income of the PTA was £2,357.53 with an expenditure of £1,731.80.
