Activities
The Objects of FC Mindwell are: To engage and work with former semi-professional footballers who may suffer mental health issues, and to promote mental health awareness in the community, particularly among men; - To manage, support, develop and promote FC MINDWELL into a self-sufficient amateur football club; - To increase participation of middle-aged men in competitive amateur football by: - Increasing participation and encouraging men of all ages (particularly 35-50) to get back involved in football - participation in the Mid-Ulster Football League (“the MUFL”), to arrange matches and social activities for its members, and to develop community participation in the same. - Support Club members and individuals by offering resources and information, enabling them to seek help or talk about any issue that they may have. - Promoting social inclusion - FC MINDWELL is an all-inclusive organisation with no discrimination on the grounds of political or religious beliefs. - Promoting amateur sport - FC MINDWELL will publicise and promote the sport of football to the Club membership and to the general public, in order to support and facilitate the growth of the sport across the country, and in particular the health and wellbeing benefits of football.
