## Activities

**Purposes:** 3.1 The objects of the Partnership shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of sex, race or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to:  (i) advance education, in particular by promoting and presenting festivals and artistic activities including art and craft exhibitions, performances of music, drama, dance, film shows and poetry readings;  (ii) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; and  (iii) advance education relating to health and wellbeing by promoting and presenting information and taking other actions deemed necessary with object of improving and protecting the conditions of life for the said inhabitants
