We report on the accouiits of tlie LIPS (Limavady Initiative for Prevention of Suicide) for the
year ended 31 August 2024, which are sct out on pages 6 to 7.
Respective responsibilities of charity trustccs and examiner
As the charity's trustees you arc responsible for the prcparation of the accounts in accordance
with ihe Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
It is our respoiisibility to:
examine th¢ accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in thc general Directions Lyiven by the Coininission
under scction 65(9)(b) of the Charitics Act
state whethcr particular matters havc com¢ to our attention.
Basis of independent examiner's report
We have eX￿nined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act
and our examinatioii was carried out in accordance with the gencral Directions given by thc
Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of thc Charities Act.
Our cxamination included a review of the accountingF records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts prcscnted with those records. It also includcd consideration of
any unusual items or disclosurcs in the accounts, and scckinby explanations from you as
charity trustccs concerning any such matters.
