LIPS (Limavady Initiative for Prevention of Suicide) Trustees, Report For the year ended 31" August 2024 (cont'd) In 2023124 LIPS Truslees rcviewed our three ycar Strategyic Plan and continued to deliver a range of menlal health interventions within the Limavady, Roc Valley and East Londonderry catchmenl ai'ea. Our new town cenlre location in Limavady allowed us to improve access and visibility at a local level. Having this presencc has continued io raisc the prolile of LIPS as we continuc to work closely wilh local stakeholders, statutory agencies and those who need our services. The activities caLTied out from our new location include mental health advice and support services, signposting, suicide prevention training, suicide prevention campaigns and events, and a range olwellbeing classes and workshops. The primary beneficiaries include local individuals and their families affected by suicide, local community groups, local businesscs wishing to promote suicide prevention and local primary schools availing of our wellbeing workshops. Our geographical catchment area includes the Liinavady, Roe Valley, Dungiven, Claudy, Greysteel, EglÈnton, Magilligan and wider East Londonderry constituency. The Trustees have had regard to the Public bencfit guidance issued by the Charity Coinmission lor Northern Ireland.
