LIPS (Limavady Initiative for Prevention of Suicide) Trustees, Report For the year ended 31" August 2023 (cont'd) In 2022 the LIPS Trustees developed a three year Strategic Plan to promote and deliver a range of mental health interventions within the Limavady catclunent area. The first year of the strategy was to relocale from a multi user building which had access limitations to a new town centrL premises based in Catherine Street, Limavady. This was achieved with the funding secured through the Community Foundation grant. Having this presence has undoubtedly raised the prufile ot. LIPS as we now arc able to better liaise with local stakeholders, statutory agcncics and thos¢ who need our services. The activities carried out from our new location primarily included training, including supporting those who are caring for someone with mental health needs. The primary beneficiaries include local community groups, stakeholdcr organisations and bereaved relatives who have been bereaved by suicide. Our geographical catchment area is the I.imavady, Dungivcn, Claudy, Greystcel, Eglinton and Magilligan. The Trustees have had regard to the Public bencfit guidance issued by the Charity ComJni88ion for Northern Ireland.
