Qualif led Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Sion Mills Integrated Primary School PTFA I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of Sion Mills Integrated Primary School PTFA for the year ended 31 August 2023. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 65 of the Act. In carrying Out my examination, I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(6)(b) of the Act. Basis for qualified independent examiner's report During the course of my examination, I identif led that adequate accounting records had not been maintained by the charity. However, bank statements were made available to me and I was able to trace the income received and expenditure incurred through those records. Due to the absence of complete accounting records and supporting documentation, I was unable to fully verify the completeness and accuracy of all transactions recorded in the accounts. Qualif led independent examiner's statement Except f or the matters described above, no matter has come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect: l. the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Act; or 2. the accounts did not accord with those records. or 3. the accounts did not comply with the accounting requirements of the Act.
