WELCOME  to our AGM  we are a charity just over 2years . 

In the few years we have been around we have managed to impact and change so many lives . 

We have helped make friendships ,tribes and circles of support . 

We have cried and laughed and provided a space to just BE 

- Sunflower Support NI is an inclusive charity in mid Ulster . 

- We promote Take 5 principles of Connect ,Take notice ,keep learning ,Be active & Give . 

- We are grass roots Voluntary run organisation that works to support the community & to support families & individuals with an Additional need .

- We can help you Access support ,Give advice & signpost to other organisations . 

- We sit on various forums and groups to help voice local concerns . 

- We have a private page where we information share . Search sunflower Support NI ( private page ) 

When sunflowers get dark times  ,they turn to each other and become each others light . 

## Areas of focus 

Continue to do what we are doing work with organisations such as Empower 

- ,DADS , NRC step up , National Trust ,Volunteer centre BASE 

      - A big focus this year needed on unreserved funds  and fundraising 

      - Applying for funding applications 

      - • ,admin etc  . 

      - Volunteers and increasing capacity of support for sessions ,cleaning 

      - Continue to offer support service users . 

   - We currently sit on forums  & Comittees to inform  & implement change such Empower ,DADS , MUDF 

   - We are on an email chain for the council where we help advise and support disability accessible events and facilities we also are on MLN and neurodiversity committee . 

   - We will continue to raise the issues and challenges faced by the community . 

   - We will continue to train and update knowledge . 

   - We Provided volunteer days with sensata  and collide .

**XIV. Charity commission website** 

**Overview is functional for this year . no amendents needed** 

**We do however need to take down members that have left this year .** 

**Update new members .** 

- **XV. All committee members step down letters from those who stepping down .** 

**Read out letter from Stacey and Emma . Was very kind words and they felt they could no longer commit . We thanked them for their time When letter was received .** 

**Laura due to conflicting  interests  no longer wanted to be a part of decision making . We received no letter but came to the conclusion that her time has ended on the committee due to no contact from September 23 .** 

**Kevin was the serving treasurer from oct 22 he continued to not show up to meetings and carry out his role to sign off accounts etc .** 

**The committee gave him an additional time to  complete the role in December 23  (NO COMMITMENT IN 14 MONTHS )** 

**Annemarie and Cynthia continued to take on role throughout the year . The decision was made if he choose not to attend any of meetings or time set aside  he would be asked to leave post .** 

**Message was sent to kevin on 14 th dec to leave post  We received no reply .** 

**We took the decision that accounts etc would be signed off as a whole committee .** 

**New members that want to come on Donna kerr , jo mc canny , Camilla shivers .**
