AGhiev8ments and performance After we delivered our summer school on July 8th 18th 2022. unfortunately we were unable lo deliver our summer school in 2023. Following this we reflected in our previous report that we identified some shortcoming in our organisation where by the delivery of our proiecl is spread thinly over the organisation as a whole. Subsequently. our academic partner, University of Masschusetls, Boslon announced that It no longer had administrative capacity lo organise the summersGhool in the future. This coincided wth the founding ofa new summerschool by one oflhe IPER directors, Maeve McLaughlin and with a debate now about the future of IPER itself. It was decided that the summerschool dimension should be discontinued, and IPER should shift ils focus to more locally based work concentrating on community based learning and intervention. Following this refocusing. a number of new directors were appointed, followed by the stepping down of the direclors who had been associated with the summerschool, with the exception of the Chairperson. Stephen Field. who remained for a period of time. Following meetings of the new directors, both via Zoom and face to face, the Articles of Association were amended lo reflect the new, more local focus of the work. The outgoing directorg Voted to pass the remaining financial assets of the company on to support this new direction of the work. The new directors expressed their gratitude for this generous act.

Fund- raising to support this work will be an immediate focus of the work in the next 12 months. as well as assessing the potential for support amongst communities. voluntary organisations. government departments and other authorities.
