The Trustees, Report eontsins the information required lo be provid8d in the Trustees. Annual Report under the
Slalemenl ol Recommended Practice {SORPI guKlelines. The trustees of the company are also charity Iruslees for the
purpose of charity law and under tho company's constitution are known a$ membeF5 of the board of trustees.
In this report the tru$le¢s of ECF Trust present a surnmary of its purpose. govemance, acts'vitses, 8chievements and
finances for the financial year 31 December 2024.
The company is a registered charity and hence the report and results are presented in a fom which complies with the
requ1￿ments of Ihg Companies Act 2006 and, although not obliged lo comply with the Ststemenl of Re￿Mrnended
Practice applicable in the UK and Republic of I￿land FRS 102, the ofganisalion ha5 implemented its recommendations
Whe￿ ￿levant in these finanaal slaternents.

Ml$$lon Statement
As a local church, il 15 our desire lo ouhyork the mission and life of Jesus lo those around us. Our vision Slalemenl is
"lo help rewrite the story of Crawjavon, Ireland ar*d the Nations with tho good news of the Kingdom of God., Al
Emmanuel, we seek lo be a community which is there to support on• 8nolh•r bul also bo equipped to serve the people
in our local area lo demonslrale God's love in word and action.

- As a community of faith. we gather lor coffee. connection. wornhip. and teathing on Sundays.
Kids and youth environments on Sunday momings.
- Midweek Lifegroups for various age groups, demographics etc. which offer study, trainin9 and support in the Christian
life and service.
- We run several drop-in coffee momlngs and evenings to allow people who are lonetylisolaled to gathof.
- Provision of a food pantry ￿lce per week and other eompassionale support for people in need.
Courses lo help explore the English larsguage and how this helps express a multicultural, welcoming church
environmènt.
Building Project.
We have been operating in our new bulldlng for one year and have been developing many of the spaces 19 maxirnise
ministry. Vve are paying ba¢k our loan al a lolal of £Sk per month, with lith8s and offerings more than adequately
covering these costs. Th6 building ￿ntinUeS to be inlemalty developed in order to meet the n¢ed$ of our congregats'on
and l¢xal Community.
During the year, we established a ' buikding management team. who meet three ts'mes a year to help ensuro 811 health
and safety requirements, policies and procedures are adhered lo.
We continue lo have a lol of Inte￿$1 from various agencies about uslng the building. To dito w¢ havg been able lo
facililale room hirg and community space provision for Links Coun5elling, Vital Connexions, Coalition of Christian Voices
Against Povety, Amagh Banbridge cra￿aV0n Council. Nl Housing Executive. Craigavon Area Compassion Proje¢l i
Claigavon Area Food Bank, Lisbum City Choir. Chambef of Commer¢elCouns81, Foster and Adoption support group,
REACH, Craigavon YFC and Trussell Trust.
Governance
Our Board of D1￿CtorS have met regularfy and have undertaken a full programmè of board strategic and governance
activity throughout the year. All company directors have confimied their willingne$s and eligibility lo act as a Director
and have dedared that they do not have any conflict ol interest in doing so. Conflicts of Intere51 during board meetings
are managed as per our agreed policy. There are no related part￿S or significant interest lo be noted. Apart from the
lead P8slor, Dire¢tor5 are unpaid and are not Trmuneraled for their Itusteeship.
New Directors are recruited as per the Memor8ndLtm and ￿tiCleS of Association. During the year, the Board was
slrenglhened by new member5. This helps lo diversfy board membership and ensures a broad range of skills and
experience al Board level. A review of the ArtiC￿S of Association has occurred during the year which amended the
charilabb objects lo belter describe the charitable woik of ECF Trust and lo improve the governance arrangements of
the Company As we look ahead to next year, and the continued development of close partnership working with
Emmanuel Church Lurgan. the Board of Directors will conduct a due diligence review regarding merging ihe 2 charitabl9
trusts so that govemancg arrangements better reflect the one vision. mission and operats.ons of the churches a￿0$$
the City of Craigavon.

Review of Activities, Achlevements and Perfomiance
Church Community
In Emmanuel Portadown. we have a regular weekly attendance of approx4nately 220 peopk. Wè ha￿ seen a number
of salvations over the past year and il has been beaub.ful lo have a"home' in which people can find family. We continue
lo meet for one moming service on a Sunday moming, and il is such an encouragement lo see so many new people
becorne welcomed and inlegraled into the church family. Our foyer facilitstes a gfeal family 'feel' as we are able lo
¢onneel with one another over teal¢offee after our Sunday gathenngs.
We also use this space to develop other community and compassion actsvilies during the week as we develop more
conngclions in the town and further afiekl. Our Caretaker eonlinues lo help facililale practical developments and
implement the n8cessary heatth and Safety standards within our building whsth have been progressing well.
In-peison galh8rings
We are continuing to see the benefit of our leaching that was delivered throughout our'God Story. series. 11 has been
an encouragement lo seè so many people reGgNe revelation that their $lory is interwoven in God's bigger story.
As our church family grows , we have had lo be adaptable in how we use the various spaces within the building. There
has been a slgady increase in attendance. with new faces coming along more regularty. We have begun the PfO¢OSS
of developing the sensory room, however this will requirg additional funding lo develop the space fully.
The various gatherings each week have been lrfe-giving lo our ¢ongregab'on and enabled us lo piovide addib'onal
support lo more vulnerable peopl6. We were delighted to be able lo host both nine baptisms and lols of dedication
services for the many babies born into our Church famity over the year.
Our faithful volunteers remain key lo how our SLtnday services and weekly minislries operate. 11 takes 160 people
serving on rota to make Sundays happgn in their current formal. And we are gralefvl for their comrnitrnenl and heart as
they do 50.
Courses
We have seen an increase in the numb8r of those attending our English classes every week, anywh•re betsveen 12 10
28 people come along. This is such a vital and Iruitful ministry which helps provide support lo the increasing number of
foreign national lamilKg5 God is bringing lo our body. Thts environment is delivered by 14 volunteers and 1 staff member
who foster a real sense of ￿MMunity for people from all over th8 world. In addition, the church provides one-lo-one
support for many people from the M￿rant community in lenns of emp￿)yMent, housing and a¢¢es$ lo various resources.
This is carried out in partnership with various local statttlory agencies and charits'es.
We have been able lo host Newcomgrfs Cafe environments which create a more inlimale environment lo gel lo
know those who ar¢ new lo the body. Following this we had 15 people attend our 'Believing and Belonging, course
which provides a wonderful opportunity to share our key Vlsion and Valu¢$.
Llfegroups
Our Life groups continue lo meet every other week, wilh about 110 people meets'ng together across the town in 17
groups. Thi5 15 a key element of our ¢huTch for building community and connectson amongst a growing ¢ongregali¢n.
Thls year we were able lo delve deeper into our God Story series as the small group guides proved a useful resour¢s.
Prayer
Galhérod Prayer look on a slightly different form this year, by changing venues lo the Glass space in Lurgan and The
Hub In Portadown. It conts'nues to run ev8ry other week allernab'ng be￿een these venues with a new starting timo Of
7.30pm.
A faithful group of 6-10 peop￿ meet every Friday night in the thurch caf park to pray around the town, These have
proved lo be great limes ol fellowship as well as prayer.
Our prayer room has been well established, running weekly on Fridays from 10am- 7pm. 11 is our dream to see this
continue lo grow and an appelile for the p￿sence of the Lord lo inerease.
Prayer ministry is offered after each Sunday moming seNice with training taking place for all volunteer5 on the teams.
These teams also help facilitat• prayer in spaces like Nua and the Tobar conferen￿.
We have also seen weekly prayer points established that are communicated across various soci81 media and
communicabon$ Platfo￿S, including our Friday email, all with the airn to create a more sustained, infomied and specrfic
Ctsllu￿ of prayer.
11 has been both a joy and an aneouragement to see our part time prayer coordinator lead this area so passionately and
diligently and lo feel the spiritual temperature increase across both churches.
11 has also been an encouragement to see coordination of our Prophetic Ministry across Emmanuel Lurgan and
Emmanuel Portadown. Training and support happen monthty, whilst also uealing an avenue for collective prayer.
Pastoral Care
Our part lime Pastoral Care Coordinator oversees pastoral support for the members of our church body who require
spt¢ific support in their lives. We continue lo support a wide range of individuals and families from those who have
just had babi85 lo those re￿ntlY bereaved and a complgx range of needs.

Kids &Tots
On average we have around 9 pre-sthool chihlren and 30 Primary School kids on a Sunday. Our 8ddilional needs
learn continues to evolve. offering support for anywhere befvleen Iy40 and four children on any given Sunday. We have
made an initial start on fumishing the sensory room which for now gives those children that require it, a sale space lo
encounter Jesus during our Sunday moming sessions. Looking to next year. we see the development of our additional
needs provision as being a key priority for the church.
We have 9 volunteers lor Kingdom Tots. approxThalely 27 volunteers for kingdom kRgs, induding 4 team leaders and 8
volunteers for our Additional Needs team. It has been really wonderful lo facililale all of our kids accessing the God
Story alongside our adult members of the church family. What has also been really beaub.ful is that we wero teaching
the same topics as Emmanugl Lurgan which is strengthening connections atxoss the city.
Sunday mornings have diffefent areas sel up and kids can rotste through with a group of k￿S their own age. The
programme indudes Bible leaching. games. memory versgs, wor5hp and praygr.
Youth
Our youth ministry continues lo expand. We now average 30 youth each week, which will increase again come
September. We currently have 9 volunteer leaders facililab.ng this on a three weekly cyde. Our young people have also
been delving deeper into the G¢yJ Story alongside our leaching theme. 11 was a joy lo see them lead a ￿ng during our
Carol service, and we hav? seen youth worship mornings estsblished once every tsvo months.
hilsl our youth progfams are $upported by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders, we are hopeful that a part-lime
youth worker can be employed in the coming year. We have begLtn lo fumish our youth room thanks lo an anonymous
donation, h¢)wever il does fequire more fijnds lo purchase more teen friendly resources.
Safeguarding is overseen by a volunleor leaderwith expertise in this area, wrth regulartraining carried out forvolunleers
in all of our environments Ihfoughoul the year.
Local Mission I Compassion
Connect Café
This environment provides a safe and free eafe-style environrnent where pgoplg can •xperi8n¢8 a warni welcome and
a listening eaf, they can get lea and snacks bul also support. care and si9nposling lo other support mechanisms. Thls
environment averaged around 4￿50 weekly visitors over the year facililaled by 12 Voluntee￿ . Over the winter months
we have provided a soup lunch on a regular basis to supplernent the service we provid•.
Food Pantry. F¢)odbank & Compassion services
With increasing demand on Oltr Freedom Foctyds Pantry both our Thursday evening and Ffiday morning 8ession$
onlinug to be a busy hive of 8clivity connecting people with practical support and community. Freedom Foods Pantry
is part of the Your Local Pantry UK wide network of Social Supemarkets. Ouf social supemarket is conne¢led into th$
strategic plan lor the ABC Council area, working with the ABC Community Food Hub and four other pantry's lo cover
the whole council area.
This area of support continues lo be key to help lfft the finanaal burden from those in the local community as well as
provide practical financial management support. There is a wonderful team of 24 volunteers who help facilitate the
running of this mlnislry led diligently and ably by our Panty coordinator. Those from the community who come lo Pantry
report how well they are loved which speaks volumes a$ lo the bvel of ￿re taken by our l¢am.
Hope Café eonlinues lo operate once a month on a Friday evening. rthating space for connéction through craft, games
and music, all over a cup of lea and coffee.
Emmanuel Portadown has a slralegtc partnership wilh CraNJavon ATea Food Bank arbd we act as a distribution centre
for this vitsl community service. Working alongside the food bank, we Continue to provide food bank ￿ferra15 for those
in need, ensuring that vital support is given in a b'mely manner. Aldilionally, signposting ￿ provided to other support
mechanisms lo provKJe a wrap-around semce.
Christmas Svpport Program
Targeted support was given over Christmas lo those in need in Our local community, induding food hampers. fvel,
electricity, and toys. The needs ofour local community continue lo grow, and the church seeks to find new way5 to bring
solutions and support We were also able lo bless the local community around the church with a token gift from
everyone at Emmanuel Portadown.

The Iruslees, who are also directors of ECF Trust for Ihe purposes of company law, are responsible for preparing the
financial statements in accordance with appluble law and regulations.
Company law requires the trustees as the directors lo prepafe financial stolemenls for each financial year. Under that
law the Iruslees have elected lo prepare ihe financial statements in accordance with United Kingdom Generally
Accepted Accounting Pracliee (United King(Jom Accounting Standards and applicable lawl including FRS 102 "The
Financial Reporting Standard appli¢able in the UK and Republic of Ireland" Section 1A (Small Enlities}. Under company
law the trustees musl not approve the financial ststements unk5s they are satisfied that they give a true and fair view
of the slate of affair5 of the company and of the surplus or défiul of the cornpany for that p8rio(l.
In preparing these financial statements, th8 trustees are required to-
