Patterson Ministries is established forexdusively charitsble purposes, namely:
The education of children and adults in religion and how to make good life chol￿S
Bible teachings Ca￿led out in schools. churches. youth groups. children's clubs etc
Structure, Governance and Management
Structure
Patterson Ministries has a management committee of up to 3 members who meet at least a year and are
responsible forthe strategic directs'on and policiesofthe charity- At present the charity has 3 membersfrom a variety
of professional backgrounds relevant to the work of the charity-
A scheme of delegation is in Pla￿ and day to day responsibility of the services rests wilh Samuel James Pattetwjn
{charity founder). Samuel is responsible for ensuring the charity delivers the services specified and that key
performance indicators are meL
Governance
The Trust Deed was signed on 15 June2023.The charity isconstituted underthisTrust Deed and is govemed under
this deed.
The charity has been registered wilh the Charity Commissi)n for Northem Ireland from 241h November 2021 U￿jer
registration number 108288.
Public Benefrt
The Trustees have had regard to the commissi￿,$ Public benefit requirementstatutory guidance and it meets the
requirements through its charitable purposes as setout above.
Financial Review
At the end of the financial yearthe charity has assets of £30.563 {2023- £29,482) and liabilities of £O12023- £0). The
netassets ofthe charity have increased by £1,081.The charity has perfomied in line with the Trusiees expectab"ons.
Reserves Policy
Patterson Ministries aims to m aintain reserves in unrestricted funds at a level equivalenlto approxim ately six months
of core operating costs. These reserves are a contingency which aim to"
Protect the future operats'on of Patterson Ministries from Ihe effects of any unforeseen variations in income
and expenditure.
Provide cash flow for grants that are paid in arrears.
The reserves policy and levels of reserves required are reviewed yeady as part of the annual budgetary process.
