Achievernents and performaDce
This year saw activities begin to return to pre Covid norn)aliti' and Trustees with ineinbers begaii to tui-n tlieir
attention to fundraising activities. Events were planned for this financial year and beyond to include a Bar-B-Quc
and Drama eveninL. These fundraisinD events saw those involved with ihe compan)I workinTr tosyether as a ii'ider
team with social benefits as w¢ll and we will continu¢ 10 build on this v¢ar-on-year. IncoTne from fundi'aising
came 10 £6,095. Directors are reaching) out to other organisaiions lo reni the preinises and th is year saw DAEiiA
and Bann Ma&ne West men's group renting the hall with increased bookings coming through tor the following
season. Rental income for the year came 10 £8.138.
The company was reg>istered with Ihe Chariry Commission Nl on 15 ' Ociober 2021.
The Trusiees have had regyard to the Charity Commission's Public Benefil requirement.
Financial review and funds policy
During Ihe year the Charity had total income of £18,214 and total expenditure of £23:004 resulting in a net deficit
of £4,790. The net deficit for the year &% shown in Ihe statemenr of financial aciivities on pag?e 7 has been
transferTed to the company's funds. Details of the financial position of the Charity at the year-end can be seen on
page 8.
Ar the end of the year the Chariry had £11,083 cash at bank. li is the aim of the Trustees. if possible. to Inaintain
an iinrestricted cash reserve equivalent io that of at least iwo monihs exp¢nditur¢.
The company plans to continue its activilies in the forthcoming years.

By GlaTryford Young Farmers, Club, a youth organisaiion managed by young voluliteers with a current
membei'%hip of 80 young people aged betwe¢n 12 and 30. This organisation has educational, recreatioiial
and social aspects to it and helps reduce isolation in the rural community. Activities include PLiblic
speaking. crafi, floral art. drdma, song and dance. stock judgying, football, tug of war. debatino
pres¢nlalions and others including significani communiry events and events to raise money foi. charitable
causes. The Young Farniers, Club leaders and members contribute significant volunteer hours each year
to the lo¢al cornmunTty.
By Glarryford Women's Institute, an organisalion for women in the local community to come together
for both Social and educational purposes.

In addition to the above the hall is available for many other activsiies particularly to include celebration events.

Structure, governance and management

responsible tor ihe overall governance of ihe Company and is actively involved in the day-to-day managemeni of
the organisation.
Directors are appointed in line with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company.
The Board of Direclors are also known as Trustees for the Purposes of ihe Charity Commission.
Risk mgnagement
The directors have conducted a review of the Tnajor risk5 to which the charity is exposed. Financial risk is
reviewed on a mollthly basis hawing due regard to 0￿(701n￿ income and expenses.
Statement of directors, responsibilities
The directors (who are the trustees of Glarryford Farniers. Hall Limited) are responsible for preparing Ihe
directors, reporl and the financial slalements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for oach financial period. Under that law the
directors have prepared the fmancial statements in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepied
Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accouniing Standards and applicable law). Under Company law the
directors must not approve the f￿ancial statements unles5 they are satisfied that the)1 oive a true and fair view of
the state of affairs of the charitable company and of the incoming resources and application of resources, including
incorne and expendiiure for thai period. In preparing these financial statements. the directors are required to..
