Chairman’s Annual Report 2022/2023
Introduction .
This year St Mark’s Silver band has celebrated great contest results, 14 new members joining to training band and three returning members to the senior band. It has been a very successful year for the band with enthusiasm growing weekly and a great team of dedicated members.
Conductor
Bob Quick has agreed to continue as conductor, and looks forward to enabling the band to continue to compete in Brass Band League NI competitions and perform at engagements regionally.
Offices .
All of the officers have agreed to stand again for election. The team is dedicated to ensuring the band continues to excel.

Events.
This year we competed in contests in Armagh, Fivemiletown and Omagh. We also attended community engagements providing entertainment at church events and residential homes.
We were delighted to play for the Portadown British Legion Remembrance Day Parade.
We provided Christmas music for Georgian Day in Armagh and the Argory’s annual Christmas events.
