Life After Trustees The following are the trustees within Life After Christopher Sherrard Debra Mullan Robert Bradley Marie O'Brien Laura Radcliffe Ann Sherrard

er ari Objectives for 2022-2023 In 2022 Life After Charity will be focusing on the following. Providing support and assistance to families bereaved through RTC'S by means of Counselling, Family Support Meetings, Home visits, peer support, Walk and Talk therapy sessions, monthly zoom support meetings. Life After will also be increasing Road Safety awareness within the Derry- Strabane Council area building on our Road Safety Saturday educational day. Life After also works closely with the PSNI Family Liaison Team and is hoping to assist at the new recruits training programs. During the year we are hoping to dedicate a new memorial bench, run our funday in St Columbs Park House and host the annual Remembrance and celebration service in the Guildhall Derry/Londonderry

We also hope to strengthen and build new partnerships In 2022 plus open new hubs in Omagh/Fermanagh and Lisburn /Catlereagh council areas.

Life After Completed Objectives 2022-2023 Life After set out a number of objectives to achieve in the year 2022-2023. To provide emotional support in the aftermath of a fatal road traffic collision to all those who have been impacted and seeks out our services. The emotional was delivered by counselling,home visits, peer support, monthly support meetings in person and on zoom, and organised days where people came together. Life After also identified that they would bring greater awareness from a victims family perspective, deliver training, workshops and run their own Road Safety Saturday event in November. To date we have been very successfull in meeting our objectives and more.

We have vlsited over 60 famllles In their homes in the aftennath of thelr traumatic loss. We Have been able to put in place a considerable amount of packages of care for each individual who has requested our support. We have delivered over 500 counselling sessions in one year, not to mention the peer support, phone calls and visits we participated in when needed. Monthly support meetings have been held in 4 different council areas across Northern Ireland, meetings have also been held with council representatives to get full support in our continued work. Life After is currently supporting 175 families across Northern Ireland, Donegal and the USA. We have been asked to deliver presentations on s regular basis for the PSNI in their recruitment of Family Laision Officers training In Garneville training collage in Belfast, giving them flrst hand knowledge and experience from a victims insight.

Life After has had various successful events in St Columb5 Park House Derry/Londonderry for our families, ranging from tree planting, memorial bench dedication, family bbq and family funday. We have also held our annual Remembrance and Celebration Service in the Guildhall in December which was hosted by our Mayor. Road safety workshops have been rolled out in partnership with local Secondary schools. Plus we also held our Road Safety Saturday Educational day during Road Safety Week. In all we exceeded our expectations as a charity and look forward to 2023-2024
