## Activities

**Purposes:** (1)	To assist the building up of Christian communities within the Irish speaking community by assisting Irish speaking children and adults within the Diocese of Down and Connor to increase their awareness and practice of Catholic faith traditions in the Irish language, and to increase the opportunities that Irish speaking communities have to attend Church services in Irish.  (2)	To assist the development and practice of Irish Cultural traditions and heritage through the medium of the Irish language for children and adults of the Irish speaking communities in the diocese of Down and Connor.  (3)	To foster understanding and respect for diversity of culture by engaging with groups from different cultural traditions within Northern Ireland, to promote awareness programmes and events that celebrate cultural difference, and reflect the principles of equality, diversity and interdependence.  (4)	The advancement of any other exclusively charitable purpose as the Trustees may decide in accordance with the law of Charity in Northern Ireland.
