## **Charity Annual Report** 

Changing Lives NI become a charity in May 2021, however due to the pandemic and restrictions it was difficult to get up and running.  We were however able to help a number of people during the time.  We had written to the Mental Health Champion and getting her onboard/writing to potential funders to get funding/publicizing our existence in the press/looking at potential premises/getting counsellors on board. 

Holding regular care boot sales which have been well attended and have provided a steady stream of income. 

Commenced registering with NICVA to get their help with identifying funding streams. 

Setting up of Amazon Smile 

Social media presence on Facebook has been set up 

Found premises we have room hire that can be used for 1-1 consultations, counselling, group meetings and charity meetings. 

Looking forward the charity plan’s in the short term – We are seeking additional counsellors to expand the number can be seen, setting up a referral system with GP’s for anyone they feel would benefit from the service either in place of or alongside a Social Services Mental Health, fundraising and help as many people as possible.
