Promotion of our adult Good Relations and Mental Health and Well_being initiatives alongside capital site refurb1shellts during the third year of this strategy were cornpleted successfully. This has allowed the DVHN to meet the needs of our community and service users, these advancements have also provided a venue that can allow statutory engagement within the rnral Sperrins DEA. Support and fimding for this was provided by the Department of Communities and administered by DCSDC. with other srnaller funding support from DCSDC, CLEARIPHA, Lottery, and DAERA h¢lpin8 provide financial assistsnce to meet our service delivery facilitation. In the previous year w¢ Concluded a Central Good Relations Funded Project via the Executive office, which allow us to retain a part-time member of staff. Unfortunately, that element of support has f1$h¢d. and we now rely solely on outside facilitation to keep us true to our charitable aims. The service provision at the wmplex was delivered to those from the most remote areas of the DEA, tackling rural and social isolation amongst dwellers. Our centre was used as the main base for deliverin8 health checks via the local health care practice. We delivered A series of Good Relations Workshops tackling historical issues of division in the community,. this was supported with the help of the Good Relations team in DCSDC and TEO. We also delivered a very successfijl Lottery supported project, the project helped us to sUp)rt our Men's Shed team remain active. with over 30 environrnental education and practical workshops delivered. The Group were also able to avail of new equipment, to meet their demands. Huge legacy has been generated from this project. The prirnary beneficiaries have In¢lUd those on low income, unemployed. suffering anxiety and depression, and those in areas of isolation with poor communication infrdstrncture. Our geogrdphical catchment takes in Donemana, Artigarvan, Newbuildings, Bready. Donagheady, Aughabrack, Altishane and Gl¢ntnornan.

Strategically, this new consultation and T¢s¢arching of n¢S within the local community and hinterlands has helped to identify the path of travel ensure that we are continually meeting the demands of our local siakeholders in the community. The results of the charity's activities during the year and of its position at the period end are iThcluded in the Receipts and payments account on page 6 and the Staten]ent of assets and liabilities on page 7. Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is our responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the ComEnission under section 65(9)(b} of the Charities Act state whether particular matters have come to our attention. Basis of independent examiner's report We have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and our examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northetn Ireland under section 65{9)(b) of the Charities Act. Our examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters. Our mle is to state whether any material matt¢rs have come to our attention giving us cause to believe: l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act 2.
