Dennett Valley Health Network Trustees, Report For the year ended 31 Marcb 2024 (collt'd) In 2023 the Dennett Valley Health Network (DVHN) Concluded a 2 year strategic plan of action for our complex refurbisbment and service provision at the Brook Rd site. Promotion of our adult Good Relations and Mental Health and Well-being initiatives alongside capital site refijrbishments during the second year of this strategy were completed success11y. This has allowed the DVHN to meet the needs of our community and service users, these advancements have also provided a venue that can allow statutory engagement within the rural Sperrins DEA. Support and funding for this was provided by the Department of Communities and administered by DCSDC, with other smaller funding support from DCSDC, CLEARIPHA and DAERA helping provide financial assistance to meet our service delivery facilitation. We concluded a Central Good Relations Funded Project via the Executive office, which allow us to retain a part- time member of staff. The service provision at the complex was delivered to those from thc most remote areas of the DEA, tackling rural and social isolation amongst dwellers. Our centre was used as the main base for delivering health checks via the local health care practice. We delivered a series of Good Relations Workshops tackling historical issues of division in the community. this was supported with the help of the Good Relations team in DCSDC and TEO. The primary beneficiaries have included those on low income, unemployed, suffeiing anxiety and depression, and those in areas of isolation with poor conlmunication infrastructure. Our geographicaI catchment takes in Doneman4 ArtIgarV Newbuildings, Bready> Donagheady, AugbabracL Altishane and Glemnornan. The TteeS have had regd to the Public benefit guidance issued by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. Strategically a new consultation and research need of the local community and hinterlands has been identified as the path of travel to make sure we are continually meeting the demands of our local stakeholders in the community. The Trustees have had regard to the Public benefit guidanc¢ issued by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
