Report For the year ended 31" March 2023 (cont'd) In 2022 the Dennett Valley Health Network (DVHN) developcd and implemented a 2 year stiategic plan for our complex rcfurbishrncnt and service provision at the Brook Rd site. Promolion of our adult Good Relations and Mental Health and Well-being initiatives alongside apital site refurbishrnents during the first ycar of this strategy were completed successfully. This has allowed the DVHN to meet the needs of OUT community and service users, these advancements have also provided a venue that can allow statutory engagement within the rural Sperrins DEA. Support and funding for this was provided by the Department of CommuTUti¢s and administered by DCSDC. The service provision at the complex was delivered to those from the most remote areas of the DEA, tackling Nral and social isolalion amongst dwellers. Our cenlre was used as the main base for delivering health checks via the local health carc practice. We delivered a series of Good Relations Workshops tackling historical issues of division in the community. this was supported with the help of the Good Relations team in DCSDC. Thc primary beneficiaries have included those on low income, unemployel suffering anxiety and depression, and those in areas of isolation with poor communication infrastructure. Our geographical catchment takes in Donemana, Artiga[Va Newbuildings, Bready, Donagheady, AughabracL Altishane and Glenmornan. The Trustees have had regard to the PubIic benefit guidance issued by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.

Independent examiner's report to the charity trustees of Dennett Valley Health Nehvork We report on the accounts of the Dennett Valley Health Network for the year ended 31" March 2023, which are set out on pages 6 to 7. Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you arc responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is our responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act state whether particular matters have come to our attention. Basis of independent examiner's report We have examined your ch&ity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and our examinatton was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission foi Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. Our exainination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comp]son of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seekAng explanations from you &8 charity trustees concerning any such matters. Our role is to state whether any maknial matters have come to our attention giving us cause to believe: l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records 3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act 4. That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
