HOLY TRINITY FOUNDATION For the year ended 31 March 2023 TRUSTEES REPORT Purpose and Objectives of Holy Trinity Foundation: (a) (b} The advancement of citizenship and community development the advancement of education particularly in support of the Community of Holy Trinity College, Cookstown the advancement of the arts, culture, heritage and science the advancement of health the advancement of amateur sport to promote any other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined. (c) (d) (e) (f) Objectives, Activities and Performance: In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity's purpose and provide a benefit to beneficiaries. During the year the following fundraising events were held to help meet Holy Trinity Foundation objectives: Annual Golf Classic Pupils Sponsored Walk A Christmas Evening With Phil Coulter 'Evening With Sam, Contributions From Businesses Alumni Donations Much of our fundraising efforts have been focused on the development of facilities that will ultimately benefit the wider community of Cookstown. Young people have often taken the lead in the fundraising efforts of the foundation, which has helped develop youth leadership in our community, and young people taking action where it hasn't happened before (for example via the Pupils Sponsored Walk).
We also began to put in motion plans for wider community outreach and engagement surrounding our catchment and look for specific grants to help develop initiatives such as our Breakfast Club for example, and extracurricular music programmes. Wider Community outreach and programme delivery is a key priority going forward for the Foundation.
