## ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

## MINUTES 

ACTION 

- 1.0 WELCOME AND APOLOGIES 

- 1.1 A Moore welcomed everyone to the meeting and no apologies were given. 

- 2.0 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS AGM 

- 2.1 The minutes of the previous AGM were agreed as a true and accurate record. These were proposed by S Reid and seconded by A Colgan . 

## 3.0 TRUSTEES REPORT 

- 3.1 P Colgan presented the annual report for 2024/25 highlighting the following: 

   - Community Centre update 

   - Social Update 

   - Children and Youth activities 

   - Events held throughout the year. 

   - Fundraising 

- 3.2 P Colgan thanked the committee members for their voluntary efforts for the benefit of the community. 

- 3.3 P Colgan thanked various people/agencies for their support over the past year including:

   - A Moore (Supporting Communities); 

   - A Ennis Neighbourhood Renewal and DfC 

   - C Spence (Housing Executive) 

   - J Treanor (FODC) Neighbours & Friends. 

- 4.0 TREASURER’S REPORT 

- 4.1 L McGowan presented the accounts for the year 1[st] April 2024 – 31[st] March 2025. 

- 5.0 ADOPTION OF REPORTS 

- 5.1 The Trustee’s and Treasurer’s reports were agreed by committee members.  These were proposed by M McKiernan and seconded by C Grimes. 

- 6.0 APPOINTMENT OF AUDITOR 

- 6.1 Everyone was in agreement that the Auditor would be Watson and Colhoun. 

- 7.0 ELECTION OF DIRECTORS 

- 7.1 A Moore thanked the Directors for their hard work and commitment over the past year. 

- 7.2 At this stage the Directors all agreed to remain and were re-elected en bloc 

- 7.3 The 5 members below were proposed and seconded to be re-elected en bloc: 

P Colgan, A Colgan, S Reid, M McKiernan, C Grimes 

## 8.0 ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS 

- 8.1 This was agreed by the Directors that this would take place at the first Committee Meeting. 

- 9.0 

   - ANY OTHER BUSINESS 

- 9.1 A Moore gave information on an event taking place in Strule Arts Centre – Omagh’s Future challenges and opportunities.
