Purpose
Antrim Baptlst Church acknowledges the headship of Jesus Christ over hls Church and exists to
glorify God by promotin8 his worship. Its members devote themselves to the teachings of Scripture,
to fellowship, breaklng of bread , prayer and evan8elism. They commit with the help of God to
witness to the saving and sustainin8 power of the Lord Jesus Christ and to work for the extension of
his kingdom. The prlncipal charitable object of the church is the advancement of the Chrlstlan falth
according ta the teachings of Scripture, the Doctrinal Statelnent and Baptist principles.
Governance
The Church Constitution is the governing document whlch glves Trustees responsibility for overall
80vernance and management of the Church. The Trustees are made up of Church Elders and
Deacons who are elected by the church membership,
2022 Report
Regular church services, prayer and other meetings were held durlng the year and we were
encouraged by quite a number of new folk joining the various church events. Around 120-130
children and adults attend Sunday morning service each week and we had 98 church members listed
at the end of 2022.
The ongoing ministries of the church include , Sunday services, 'Jam' and 'Click' children's clubs,
Sunday School, Bible Class, 'Impact' Youth ministry, a weekly Parents and Tots group, monthly
Women and Men events and coffee / lunch events for seniors. A new weekly language class
outreach to the mlgrant community in Antrim began durin8 the year and has continued to grow with
refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine among those attending.

refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine among those attending.
A Hollday Blble Club for children was arranged In the summer and women in the church organised
'Walk For Life, events in the month of May. We were pleased that many from the local communltv
joined in these outreach actlvltles.
In the autumn, eleven folk were ba ptised demonstratin8 a new life in Christ and a Ilving hope In the
ives of these Indlvlduals. Soon after, eleven new members were accepted into formal church
membership.
We are thankful for the opportunlty to partner and help support wlder misslon organlsatlons.
Members of our church are involved on a full-tlme basis wlth the Irlsh Baptlst College, Baptist
Missions, Coaching For Christ, Real Hope l Romania l and One Mission Society.

Vance, the Youth Mlnlstry Worker, Josh Orr and on a part-tlme basls Andrew Eliott, a member who is
a Bapt15t Mission5 worker and who was responsible for evangellsm tralnlng at Antrlm Bapt15t Church
In 2022.
We are thankful to God for the large group of commltted church volunteers engaged in serving in
the various ministries Outlined,
Financial review
Total receipts on unrestricted funds were £101,032. Restricted donatlons of £61,220 were also
recelved, glvlng a tatal Income of £162,252 whlch is detailed in the Financial Statements. A total of
£136,429 was spent on Charitable Activities, and £33,757 was spent on loan and interest
repayments. A further £493 was spent on the purchase of flxed assets.
The net result for the year was a deflcSt of Income over expendlture amountlng to £8,426. Adding
the bank and cash balances brought forward at the beginning of the year, the balances carried
forward at 31 December 2022 totalled £34,483,
The trustees and members of Antrlm Baptlst church glve much thanks to God for his faithfulness and
grace towards us as a fellowship.
