## **CLASP TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT:**

Over the past financial year CLASP has continued to host its weekly events for elderly people in the local area. We have continued to complete our weekly coffee mornings, bingo sessions, and weekly social events.

CLASP had the privilege to complete several trips this year, including Newry, Belfast Opera House and The Mill (Newtownabbey). Over the Christmas period we were able to take our local residents for a Christmas Lunch. I want to take the opportunity to thank Listening Ear for their funding this year, through the NIHE, which funded several of our social events this year.

We had the opportunity to work alongside IMPACT, Randalstown, during their legacy project, allowing us the opportunity to visit Randalstown, and learn their history, attend a crosscommunity history lecture in Monkstown, attended ‘The Man Who Swallowed a Dictionary’ performance in the Mill, Newtownabbey, and had the opportunity to attend a Networking dinner in Antrim.

Over the course of the year CLASP members have attended the South Antrim Housing Community Network and the Fendon Advisory Group. These meetings have allowed our members to lobby Housing Organisations for the good of our community.
