**Purposes:** 2.	THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY ARE:  1.	The advancement of community development within the village of Articlave and surrounding district. 2.	To provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs, health and well-being of residents of all backgrounds living in the Articlave and surrounding area and its environs (the “area of benefit”) by:  (a)	creating, developing and maintaining a social and workshop space and providing other facilities and amenities so as to help improve health and well-being and reduce isolation; (b)	offering opportunities for the community to undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice;  (c)	developing the capacity of the residents of Articlave and surrounding area to share their skills and knowledge with others;  (d)	encourage and facilitate involvement in voluntary and community activity.  (e)	providing opportunities for residents to take part in recreational activities, socialise, build self-confidence and engage in creative activity and team work with the object of improving their conditions of life.
