The PTA is registered under HMRC as a charity. It can apply for Gift Aid. A claim was made
ror (iirt Ala b! the Treasurer on ti June 2022 to HMRC. The results have not vet been receivea.

The income and expenditure account are attached below and draft financial ststements.
These will require an independent examination and then uploaded to the Charity Commission
The overall income increased by £6940.29 during the year when compared to the previous
year. This was a result of getting back to normal after Covid-19 restrictions and PTA activitiaf

Exp'enditure increased by £3930. This year included funding of school buses due to the
restricted school budget and cost of Ilving crisis the PTA/school did not want to pass onto
Darenis.
The Income and Expendlture Account Is attached, whlch outllnes a proflt of £4090 for the

The balance in the bank at the end of the year was £9,837, whlch Is an Increase of £4.090

The Trustees have discussed the financlal viability of the PTA for the year ahead and continue
to lookfor new ways to ralse funds going forward. It Is antlclpated that the PTA Income levels

Trustees are satisfied that there are adequate funds in place to ensure that the PTA can
continue its activitles, and the financial statements for the year ended 31 August 2023 can be
signed off as a going concern.
