NIC108114 St Mary's Parent Support Group Rathfriland Charity Number NIC108114 Annual Trustees Report 02 September 2021 untll I Septmeber 2022 Charity address; 67 Downpatrick street Rathfriland BT34 5DQ We had a very successful fundraising programme this year which involved the help of pupils, volunteers and donators The events organized had something for everyone, providing social platforms to promote the school, the school family and importantly help to raise awareness of the work of the PSG in striving to enhance the quality of school life by providing state of the art equipment and teaching aids. Fundraising activities held during 2021-22: At the start of term parents were asked if they would like to give a Voluntary contribution. This raised £410 Halloween day was great day for the kids to dress up and have fun. This raised £190 November 2021- we had a busy month preparing for our annual Christmas raffle event which was a great fundraiser (£925.00). We would like to thank everyone within the school and local community who supported this event via donation of prizes and buying tickets. In March we had "Guess the name", this raised £443 In June we had our sk Family Fun Run, this was a great fundraiser that was supported by the school and local community. This raised £563.90 We have registered with Easyfundraising and 30 supporters have raised donations for the school while shopping online. To date £64.80 has been raised Summary As is shown in our annual accounts, our opening balance for the year was £1403.39. Funds raised this year amounted to £2596.70. Expenditure costs came to £117.11, leaving a closing bank balance of £3882.98 What were the funds used for? Bank fees £45.11 Parentkind annual membership £72.00
NIC108114 Out of the Petty cash a total of £61.60 was used to buy sweet cones for all children making their sacraments. Ice cream was bought as a treat for the Girls football team on winning the Cumann Na Bunscoil tournament. All parents, guardianslcarers who have children at St Mary's Primary School are automatically members of the Parent Support Group. A committee of elected trustees is responsible for managing the charity and organizing its activities. The trustees during 2021/2022 were: Lynette Travers (Chairl Naoimh Sloan (Secretary) Siobhan Mc Givern (Treasurer) Plans forthe comin ear We envisage the much of our work for the forthcoming year will involve efforts to maintain and build the Parent Support Group, to strengthen our ability to carry out our aims of building good home/school relationships and advancing the education of all our pupils.
