For the Year Ended 31 December 2023
The tn]stees present their report and Receipts and Payment account for the year ended 31 December
2023.
Lisnagleer Baptist Church ("the Church") acknowledges the headship of Jesus Christ over his Church and
exists to glorify the triune God by maintaining and promoting his warship both individually and
corpordtely.
The principal charitable object of the Church is the advancement of the Chrftstian faith according to the
teaching of scripture, understood in its historical and evangelical sense, the Doctrinal Statement and
Baptist principles. Its members devote themselves to the teaching of SCriPNre. to fellowship, breaking
of bread, prayer and evangelism.
The activities carried out by the Church include:
holding regular services for public worship. prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching for all
age groups;
providing pastoral care to the members of the church through visitation and prayer;
organising meetings and events that promote our charitable purpose;
participating in the life of the local community,
supporting other Christian organisations and charities through volunteerin& financial gifts
and prayer.
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance i&8ued by the Charity Commission in deciding what
activities the church should undertake.
The Church meets the public benefit requirement by providing benefit to its members and the general
public by making known the Christian gospel of the Lord jesus Christ through the advancement of the
Christian faith.
In addition to the regular church services, Lisnagleer Baptist Church put on the following activities
during 2023:
l. A weekly Good News Club for children. from the area. for 6 months of the year;
2. An annual Holiday Bible Club for four evenings during the summer:
3. A weekly infornial Bible Study called Firni Foundations in which various Bible subjects or
books were studied;
4. A branftual ladies coffee morntngw7th a spectal speaker taktng part,"
5. A prdise night led by a guest song leader,
6. A church barbeque in the summer as a time of fun and lellowship for the churrh family and
friends;
Quarterly open-air services Èn the cerltre of Coalisland as an outreach in this local town
Regular door to door visitation and trart distribution in the local area, as well as calendar
distribution toward the end of the year. along with an invite to the annual carol service held in
the church buildin&
9. A special week of Bible teaching with a guest speaker sharing on a relevant subject
10. Regular assemblies in Donaghmore Primary School.

FOT the Year Ended 31 December 2023
The church Tecorded a net surplus for the year of £17.894 (2022: £3,519).
Closing unrestricted reserves at 31 De￿mber 2023 were £47.448 (2022: £30.071).
Closing restricted reserves at 31 December were 2023 were £3,379 [2022: £2.862). This represents
funds held under the Development Fund.
There are no funds held by the Church that are materially in deficit.
