Adoption of minutes proposed by Liam Murphy and seconded by Kate Quinn. ## Chairperson’s Report The chairman began by acknowledging the passing of community members in the past 12 months - many who were great supporters of Lislea Community Association. The chairman then discussed the various fundraising events that were held throughout the year, website, Hall bookings, developments in funding including IFI fund for Omeath and LCA and all the other various activities that have taken place in 2023/2024. ## Secretary’s Report The secretary began by acknowledging the hard work and commitment of all the committee members, and the local community and volunteers who were involved throughout the year. Again secretary covered important developments and various events that had taken place in 2023/2024. _Lislea Community Association AGM 5.11.2024_ ## Treasurer’s Report As agreed at last year’s AGM the Treasurer has aligned accounts to the financial year since financial year accounts management is the preferred method by funders and the Charity Commission, For this reason, the summary statement circulated by the Treasurer detailed the income/expenditure for the past seven months (1 Sept 2023 - 31st March 2024) for Lislea Community Association. Going forward, therefore annual accounts will be produced on a financial year basis, first complete year 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025. The Treasurer circulated a summary statement detailing the income/expenditure. He highlighted a modest decrease in utilities’ costs. Insurance costs had increased by 5%. Greater use/hire of the Centre had contributed to an increase in overall income. As agreed at a recent committee meeting rates of hire will remain the same and will be reviewed in advance of 2025/26 The Treasurer thanked DMC Bookkeeping for their continued advice and assistance with regards to managing the accounts and HMRC returns. The adoption of Lislea Community Association Accounts iwere proposed by Liam Hannaway and seconded by Seán Cunningham. ## Programme Coordinator Update Report Kate’s report revealed a very busy year of organising and activities and also outlined all the funding achieved. He also congratulated committee members on retaining their roles and wished the incoming committee every success in the forthcoming year. He gave a warm welcome to Gerard and Máire who are joining the committee as new members. ## **Next committee meeting – 26 November @8.15pm**
