## **Aims and Purposes of the Charity.**
Dundrum Cricket Club provides facilities, amenities and access to equipment, to anyone wishing to participate in Cricket both competitively and recreationally within Dundrum and surrounding areas of Co Down. Members take part in training and skills developments and have an opportunity to socialise, enhance their skills and engage in enjoyable creative and recreation activities.
## **Recruitment of trustees.**
Trustees are recruited through nomination by club member to the committee, this is carried out at the AGM.
## **Activities and objectives for the period November1st 2022 to October 31[st] 2023.**
The main objective for Dundrum Cricket Club was to continue to promote the sport of cricket within Dundrum and the wider County Down area. This was realised by providing weekly coaching sessions for over 80 junior members, the introduction of a Women’s XI to play in a competitive league and the continued delivery of coaching to primary age children in a school setting.
As a charity we feel that we have provided a safe, and welcoming environment to anyone in the local community regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, nationality, religious or political beliefs to participate in the playing of amateur cricket.
Both members, local schools, and community groups have been welcomed to use the facilities at The Meadow we believe this is in line with our purpose to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.
We have seen our younger members thrive and progress in the sport of cricket through selection to provincial training pathways, nation and international team selection.

These benefits can be identified through regular feedback from members, internal and external evaluations of the work that we undertake, the number of members from all age groups and sections, the number of young people progressing to become qualified officials.
