We have been busy providing ac=vi=es such as:
Our Halloween party and disco - this has now become an annual event. The children put real effort into their costumes and pumpkin carvings. They also enjoyed games and Halloweenthemed craDs on this night.
the local community selling all sorts of hand-made giDs. There were ac=vi=es for the children too, including craDs, games and winter-themed science experiments.
Our sponsored walk took place in Kilbroney Park as usual, with a small walk for the younger children and a more strenuous one for the rest. We also raised money through a Cash for Clothes uniform-swap and a Smar=es challenge.
Thanks to these events the PTA were able to help fund a cinema visit, school trip and schoolleavers’ trip, providing the transport costs for these events. We also held a summer fun day with bouncy castles.
We were able to purchase two more interac=ve white boards for the school this year and buy much-needed sports’ equipment We would like to say a big thank-you to our loyal sponsors and the local businesses who support us through dona=ons and prizes.
School – the teachers, teaching assistants and all the support staff, who were instrumental in making our ac=vi=es happen, giving up their =me to help with both the organisa=on and the running of all the events.
