The Church acknowledges the headshlp and ultlmate authority of Jesus Chrlst over HSS Church and
exists to glorify the triune God by maintaining and promoting His worship both individually and
corporately. Its Members devote themselves to the teachings of Scripture, to fellowship, breaking of
bread. prayer and evangelism. They commlt. with the help of God, to witness to the saving and
sustaining power of the Lord Jesu5 Christ and to work for the extenslon of His Kingdom. The principal
charitsble object of the church Is the advancement of the Christlan faith according to the teachings
of Scripture, the Doctrinal Statement and 8aptist principles.
Maln actlvities to further its purpose for the publi¢ benefrt
The maln benefits were sharing the gospel In the public domaln, whether through activitles In the
church buildlng or outside. Bible teaching resulting in people living Christianly and the demonstration
of care, often practtcal, in the community designed to impact people and society. Help was offered to
those who find themselves in need, be that practical, emotional orspiritual. Services of worship for all
ages; activities for children below primaryschool age, of primary school age and above primary school
age; gatherings for mothers with prtrschool children. meetings for senior citizens and events for
teenager5 and young adults all reflected the varied church programme designed to further the
charities, purpose for the public benefit.
Main achievements during the year
Public worship services during the year were designed to enable people to engage in the public
worship of Almighty God and to faci5itate the hearing of the Christian 8ospel which brings salvation.
Gathering together brought increased understanding of the Bible. increased awareness of each

others, needs, growth in spirrtual understsnding, moral awareness and mutual encouragement as
people gained a greater understanding of Christian belief and expected behaviour. Loving God and,
flowing from that, loving others, the church's motto, were two of the main outcomes of meeting
together.
Other achievements of a personal nature were increased knowledge, growth in holiness, pastoral help
in the troubles of life, comfort for the bereaved and care for the ill and elderly. There was also
practical, financial and prayerful support forthe Departments of the Association of Baptist Churches
in Ireland as well as for missionary endeavours.

The end of year balance was £65,017.
There were no funds held by the Charity that were materially in debt at the end of the year.
