**Eimear’s Wish creating Hope AGM Saturday 8[th] April 2023** 

The AGM of Eimear’s wish Charity No. 108082, was held on April 14[th] 2024, at 11am. In the offices of Unite the union 26-34 Antrim Road Belfast BT11 8LA 

Chair; Sean Smyth 

Order of business; 

Apologies: Catherine O’Rawe Tricia Henry 

Election of incoming officers for the election period 2023 to 2026. Chair: it was proposed by Shannon Mars that Sean Smyth be elected as life chair of the charity and continues in his role as secretary. Fiona Kelly, seconded the proposal, there were no other nominations, and Sean agreed to the joint role. The following volunteers were duly elected in accordance with the charity’s standing orders.

**Eimear’s Wish creating Hope AGM Saturday 8[th] April 2023** 

Secretary’s Report: The secretary’s report was distributed to all attendees, which give full details of the last 18 month, including the charity’s finical report which the auditors agreed with. It was proposed by Nicola Johnston that the secretary’s report be accepted and seconded by Seainin Smyth. Attendees agreed with the proposal. 

AOB: Driver training and purchase of car for charity use. 

Kyla Adams reported that the hub we need some repair work for the upcoming season, including refitting the interior and painted on the outside. The hub was unable to number of events as there was no one with a licensed to tow it. It was agreed that the secretary will contact local driver training agencies and arrange training for volunteers who wish to be trained. Sean is to also explore the possibility of obtain a vehicle possibility a crew van, to assist with transportation. 

Being no other business the meeting closed at 13.15. The secretary will send copy of the minutes to the volunteers along with details of the next meeting.
