The Mar aret Finle Trust Re ort of the Trustees for the Year Ended 31 December 2023 The trustees who are also directors of the charity for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006, present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2023. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities- Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective l January 20191. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives and aims To provide relief to disadvantaged or disabled members of society through financial aid initiatives that provide a degree of support in their constant struggle with physical or mental challenges in Society. The focus of the charity, on behalf of the public, would provide financial relief associated with initiative5 supporting the following: 11 Educational and support schemes in sport, arts & education projects for the disadvantaged or disabled. 21 Personal development, training & learning assistance to the disadvantaged or disabled. 31 Health & medical support for disadvantaged members of society suffering from ill health or disease. ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE Charitable activities The Margaret Finley Trust has continued to give funds to deserving organi5ations, who continue to care and support members within our community.
