**Purposes:** The Company's objects are: 1) To relieve poverty, sickness and the aged, advance education and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Strathfoyle area and its environs in Derry in such manner as may be charitable, by association voluntary organisations, statutory authorities and inhabitants in a common effort to improve the local environment and to provide services and facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving conditions of life for the said inhabitants. 2) To advance the education of the public by providing training facilities for the acquisition and development of occupational skills and work experience
