1.0 Introduction
It has been a challenging year of meeting our community’s needs (spiritual, educational, etc.), learning along the way, and shouldering the responsibility of consistently providing the objects for which we were established. This report aims to provide a picture of what has been happening with Aman Association over the past twelve months, and to give an insight into what progression we have made, lessons we have learned, and future plans for the organisation.

2.0 Vision, Mission, and Values
Vision Statement - To grow and flourish as Muslims in the Fermanagh community.
Mission Statement - We serve and represent the Muslim community of Fermanagh, catering to its spiritual, social, and educational needs.

3.0 Strategic aims
- (a) to promote the benefit of the Muslim community in County Fermanagh and its environs of Northern Ireland, and to advance the Muslim faith and preserve Islamic culture and heritage, by providing facilities for religious congregation and, in the interests of social welfare, for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said community, and in particular:
(i) to maintain and manage a centre or centres in County Fermanagh for activities promoted by the Charity;

(b) to promote good relations between people of different religions, race or ethnicity, in particular by promoting knowledge and understanding between persons of the Muslim faith and other inhabitants of the area of benefit; and

(c) to further such other exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees may from time to time determine.

5.0 General Operations
- Congregational Worship - Our centre is accessible 24/7 for any member wishing to utilise the space for worship. For the five daily prayers, set at varying times throughout the year, according to the positions of the sun on any particular day, and changing throughout the seasons, we have created a yearly timetable, and community members are kept updated regularly as to the prayer times in each week.

Friday Prayer - The highlight of the week, on Friday afternoons the main prayer of the week is held, including a lesson in English and Arabic for inclusion of all, and an Arabic sermon, followed by communal prayer (voluntary Imam).

Children’s Education - 2 days per week (excluding holidays and summer time), we hold classes for children from 5 years old onwards to develop proficiency in Arabic reading skills, and teaching of religious and cultural norms. (Teachers work voluntarily)

Adult Education - 2 nights per week, we hold classes for adults - one for understanding and improving one’s recitation of the Quran, and another for understanding rulings pertaining to personal worship, prayer, fasting, social dealings, transactions, etc. (Volunteer teacher)

Ladies’ Classes - One morning per week, ladies meet for a learning circle (led by volunteers), and periodically conduct special training sessions (e.g. Preparation of Deceased for Funeral Workshop)

April 13th- May 14th: Ramadan Night Vigil - Centre open to families to listen to the Qur’an and beneficial reminders

8th July 2022: Eid ul Adha Family Gathering - hire of bouncy castle, BBQ

Girl Guides Liaison - Regular meet-ups providing services for young girls
6.0 Annual General Meeting
- AGM Held 9th April 2022
The business of the annual general meeting included:
(a) the consideration of the report and accounts presented by the Trustees (see 8.0 for Financial Report);
(b) [not required] the appointment of Trustees to fill vacancies arising within the Board of Trustees;
(c) the appointment of reporting accountants or auditors for the Charity.
