Trustee selection methods
Trustees are selected by nomination from Committee Members at the charity’s Annual General Meeting. This meeting was previously held in June but during the 24-25 year the committee agreed for this meeting to take place at the start of a new academic year and so it was held in September 2025.
Trustees must receive an initial nomination from a member, which must be seconded before appointment is confirmed. Should there be two nominations and secondments to a single post, the process will be put to a member vote with the majority deciding the appointment to position.
