OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITES
Objectives and aims
Little Wombles established in January 2002 continues to aim in providing the highest quality of care and education for all children without distinction of gender, disability, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious background.

In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Norther Ireland’s guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity’s and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries.

Net income £77,480
Income Surplus £2,526
Funds remain in a positive position with a closing balance of £31,634.

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE & MANAGEMENT
The charity is controlled by its governing document, a deed of trust and constitutes an incorporated charity.
Risk Management
The trustees have a duty to identify & review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensure appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and error.
Weekly meetings are held with management and staff to plan the flow of work and given tasks etc. Feedback controls with staff & parents are maintained. Monthly meetings of the trustees and senior management take place to discuss the direction of the organisation, finances, fundings, risks and other issues.
