Principal Activities
The maln benefits that flow from the purposes of St Monica's Boxing Club is to help to broaden, as far a5 possible, 2ccessto
boxing facilities in Newry and surrounding area in orderto enhance participation and develop physical and mental boxing skills.
Such participation enhances the physical benèfits to partlclpants byway of healthy active participatlon in boxing, Participation
also encourages sport5manship• di5clpllne and personal development at 211 lÉvels. It also provldes enjoyment to those
spectating.
The benefits are demonstrated through feedback from Individual members.
There 15 nts harm arising from any of the purposes.
The beneficiaries are people with an interest in boxing, sport and physical development and indeed anyone in the community
who wishes to participate.
Therè Is no harm flowing from the purposes and any private benefit is incidental.
They provide fully qualified boxlng coaches to teach local Membe￿ ofthe community to box. This can befor general fitness or in
competition Such as local club events or national events. We also provlde a safe and neutral environment for peoplefrom all
communities to come together both to train, leam and break douvn barrters. We aim to bLJlld people to help them gain
conlldence to reach theirfull potential in life and raise the level of achievement of the local area with particular emph8sls on
provldlng a sporting outlet and sportlng opportunitie5 for the local community.
Duringthe year, there )Nere donation5 received from the community which was Used to purchase a new building which will be
used as our boxing club going forward to host events and traininE for club members.

Managemertt have considered a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval ofthese financlal ststements as part of
their assessment of the apprDpriateness ofthe goSng concern assumption, and have concluded thatthe going contem basls is
appropriate.

The Board consists ofthr@e Trustees who administer the club and meet monthly. The Board has appointed a club Leaderto
manage the day-to-day operatlons ofthe club. The1è8der has delegated authority, within terffls of delegated approval, for
